Kilfeather’s unique sound and energetic live performances have earned this three-piece powerhouse from San Diego, CA infamous recognition in the independent music scene. 

 

Kilfeather's singles from the last two records, released by Golden Robot Global Entertainment's Riot Records, received massive FM radio rotation in countries all around the world while the band continues to tour regionally in the western United States.

 

Over the years, Kilfeather has been awarded the NHL's Golden Knights Artist of the Game on multiple occasions, and also featured in the LV Review Journal’s “Most Prolific” article. With years of self funded recording, touring, and sharing the stage with many international acts under their belt, this band continues to be a massive force of sound and energy.

 

Kilfeather has also contributed to the indie film industry, with multiple tracks featured in the Amazon Prime movie “Scare Me”. The song “Waiting to get in” was selected for Loudwire’s top 25 rock playlist while the bands first international singles "King Creep" and "Never Stop" gained them recognition on independent and syndicated radio stations all around the world.

 

Operating out of Southern California with K. Kilfeather at the helm on guitars, vocals, lyrics, and synth, Carlos Lopez on drums, and Cal Martinez on bass, Kilfeather creates a blend of energetic, thought-provoking, and uniquely branded music. Together their influences and skills create an unforgettable and highly entertaining freakout rock experience.

 

Kilfeather’s music is a fusion of various genres such as rock, punk, metal, and psychedelic, making it challenging for some to box them into a specific sound. Their music is a reflection of Kilfeather's personality himself, which is experimental, non-conforming, and unapologetic. 

 

Kilfeather’s lyrics are imbued with raw emotion, introspection, and societal commentary. Their music is a reflection of the contradictions and complexities in modern life, and the lyrics often address themes such as love, loss, mental health, and political unrest.

 

Kilfeather has shared the stage with a wide variety of artists and bands such as; Wayne Kramer (MC5), Kyle Gass (Tenacious D), Danny Carey (Tool), Steven Adler (GunsN’Roses), HR (Bad Brains), Mike Watt (Minutemen), John 5 (Rob Zombie), The Obsessed, Supersuckers, Big Business, Death Valley Girls, LA Witch, Sadgirl, WAAVES, Voodoo Glow Skulls, The Vibrators, and many more.


Kilfeather makes music inspired by the sounds of Scooby-Doo, Black Flag, Delicatessens, Iron Maiden, Surfbort, Brand New Socks, Death Valley Girls, Howlin' Wolf, IDLES, and Bad Religion.
